Over recent years, the media in The UK and other countries such as The USA has taken a very anti-offshore call centres stance. Their reporting is often scandalous and fails to present the true picture that we all know which is that it's not as simple as "domestic centres are good and offshore call centres are bad". Even in recent weeks, we have seen The BBC hype up the fact that Spinvox use and have used call centres in South Africa, Egypt, The Philippines, India and elsewhere. I for one that it's time the UK media was more balanced in its reporting. A few years ago, The CEO of HSBC claimed that his offshore call centre agents were better than those in The UK. The British media portrayed his comments as ridiculous without ever considering any of the facts. Since then, UK CEO's have moved away from talking about their offshoring but still appreciate the benefits of good offshore agents at affordable prices. All this means that we as the offshore call centre community does not have a voice. So, 10 minutes ago, I decided to start a petition and I want you to be among the first of what I hope is 1 million+ people who will sign it. I need you to visit the Url listed below and also forward this email to anyone you think should also sign it.

This sounds good and I think its fair. I will support this. Outsourcing is a business that helps both companies and countries. I believe that by outsourcing campaigns, big companies can save enough money for them to survive and give products to there people in a most meaningful way. There are a lot of reasons that companies outsource and you just can't blame them. Would like to write more about this article but it will take time and so I give you all the chance to express yourselves on this matter. Thank you.
