Currently enjoying my 5th call center job, after having worked for a phone company as a technical troubleshooting agent, two cable companies as a general agent and the city tax agency also as a general agent I'm now a general agent for an airline. My first 4 call center jobs were in The Netherlands which is where I'm from, I now live and work in Paris, France. Before I entered the call centre business I worked in the music/radio/media/IT businesses. I have experience and training as a sound engineer in the USA and I studied communication and digital media design for a while in The Netherlands. My first language is Dutch, my second language is English (level C1 or C2), my third language is German (B1 or B2) and I'm currently working hard on my fourth language French. At work I handle calls and e-mails primarily in Dutch but also in English. I get a lot of satisfaction from angry callers who are happy and thanking me for helping them when they end the call. I'd like to be a trainer someday but I would like to have some more experience answering calls before I try that. I have +2 years experience right now. At your service, sir.
